CONSIGNMENT
What is consignment?
Part of our inventory at FULL CIRCLE HINTON is acquired through Consignor Clients. A Consignor is someone who brings quality items to the store and receives a percentage of the sales' proceeds when/if those items sell.
Consignment Criteria:
FULL CIRCLE HINTON:
Accepts only clean, quality merchandise that is in excellent used or new condition. Items that come in dirty, soiled, broken, or missing pieces will not be accepted.
Determines the resale prices on all items. This includes when and by how much the price of a given item should be reduced if it does not sell within a reasonable amount of time (minimum 30 days).
Consigns items that have an individual resale price of at least $25. Items that do not meet the minimum $25 value, but are in excellent new or used condition and meet the current needs of the store will be taken in as donations and/or passed along to other local causes.
Consignment Order Process:
Consignors must first complete and SUBMIT this consent form. Hard copies are available in store.
Consignors (current and future) must contact Full Circle Hinton (email, Social Media DM, phone, text) to ensure the store is accepting new consignment items at a given time and then arrange for a 15-minute appointment during store hours.
Consignors bring in a maximum of 20 items (in season) per calendar month to Full Circle Hinton during store hours.
Full Circle Hinton will require time to sort, record, and price consignment orders. This process can take up to two weeks.
Items meeting the consignment criteria will be priced according to current market value, retail sale trends, and physical condition of items.
Payment Breakdown (before tax/GST)
Full Circle Hinton retains 65% of proceeds from the final sale of each item consigned (55% of items with a resale value of $150 or more). A portion of this 65% (or 55%) is donated to local non-profits.
The Consignor is paid 35% (45% of items with a resale value of $150 or more) of proceeds form the final sale of each item consigned.
Payment Frequency
Consignors are paid their portion of the final sale proceeds (before GST) made during a given calendar month within 7 business days after the last day of that month. Consignors can choose to be paid via ETransfer, Full Circle Hinton Store Credit, or donate their earnings to the featured local non-profit of the month.
Sale timeline
If a consignor's items do not sell within a reasonable amount of time (minimum 30 days for sale on the store floor), they are then taken in as donations to Full Circle or other local charitable causes.
