FULL CIRCLE HINTON

Full Circle, along with many (most) local businesses, were directly impacted by the Jasper wildfires this year. Lost summer & fall tourism led to a fraction of typical customer numbers, and the lowest sales since our inception in 2022.

A silver lining to the disaster was an opportunity to lend a hand to evacuees. We collaborated with community members and created a free shopping space for Jasperites, later called the “Jasper Relief Effort”. We transformed the former Hinton Vacuum store into a welcoming space where victims of the fires could find essential goods and feel a sense of belonging during an otherwise devastating time.

Seeing the need and overwhelming amount of secondhand goods, we decided to open a second Full Circle location in the very space where the JRE was stationed. We want to better serve our community on a grander scale.

The funds raised helped us recoup from a challenging fiscal year overall, recover some of the out-of-pocket renovation costs, and, most importantly, better see this DUAL-LOCATION SUSTAINABLE SHOPPING vision come to life!
